Recreational Program
Online registration for our 2024-2025 season opens on June 1, 2024!
Our season runs from September-June. We suggest registering online sooner rather than later to secure your spot. Waitlists will be opened once classes are full.
Recreational dance is perfect for students who want to dance just for fun or as a stepping stone for eventual competitive level dance training. All recreational dances perform in our June recital. There may be some moving around of students, at the studio director's discretion, as we try to place your dancer in their perfect class.
**All class placement is at the discretion of the studio director**
Solo & duo/trio recreational lessons are available!
Baby and Me
Newborn-17 months
Our baby and me class is for people with children newborn-17 months. The babies can either be held in a carrier while the adults dance or dance around if they are able to walk on their own. This is a great way for new parents or nannies to get in some exercise and bonding time with their child!
Creative Movement
Two age levels: 18 months-2.5 years and 2.5 years-4.5 years
Our creative movement classes are the perfect fit for dancers who love to use their imagination! This class will focus on using props and different songs to focus on creativity through dance. Dancers will also learn the ballet basics to help further their dance education. This is a non-recital class.

*Dancers in this age group can also register for our preschool class. Our preschoolers dance in the recital.
Preschool
Ages 2.5 (potty trained)Â -4
Our preschool class is our youngest class that performs in our annual recital! In this class, dancers will learn the basics of ballet and tap. Our dancers will have lots of fun learning what dance is all about as well as learning their choreography for our recital. They will have two dances in the recital (one ballet and one tap). This is a fun upbeat class that focuses on the fundamentals and our love for dance!

*This class is recommend for dancers that are dancing for the first time. If you are 4 years old and have dance experience, the studio director may recommend you for a core combination class.
Core Combination Classes
Ages 4-18
Our core combination classes are split in to 5 separate age groups: Itty Bitty, Mini, Petite, Junior and Teen. All recreational and competitive dancers enroll in our core combination classes.
These classes are designed to give our dancers a well rounded education by focusing on ballet/lyrical and adding an additional style of dance.Â
Our combination classes are an hour long, with 30 minutes focused on each style of dance. Pending on age, our core combo classes consist of ballet/tap, ballet/jazz, ballet-lyrical/jazz.
Our dancers will perform two dances in the recital.Â
Dancers that would like more than their core combination classes can enroll in any of our add-on classes (see below).
Add-on Rec Classes
Ages 4-18
Our add on recreational classes gives dancers the opportunity to do more than just their regular core classes! The following classes can be added to your regular schedule: musical theatre, tap, ballet, pointe, acro and hop hop. We always encourage our dancers to try any style of dance that may interest them! You never know what you might end up falling in love with!!
Ballet
Ages 6-18
Ballet is the foundation of dance. We always recommend ballet to any dancer that wants to take their training to the next level. In our ballet classes, dancers will focus on technique and fundamentals of dance. Our ballet classes are for additional training and do not dance in the recital.
Every competition dancer is required to take the appropriate ballet class for their age.
Adult Classes
Ages 18+
We do have an adult program for those dancers that want to continue to dance past high school! There is no age cut-off for our adult classes. Please visit the adult program page under "classes" for more information.
